Leadership is different from management. It is about setting direction, aligning people, motivating, and inspiring. In the fast paced world of today organizations require more leadership and less management. Leadership skills are required at all levels of the organization, not just for people in assigned management roles. Ray has over thirty year’s experience of successfully leading organizations and developing leaders. This session can be tailored from a one hour session to a three day leadership development course that will improve the leadership skills for your organization.
Building Corporate Culture
Corporate culture can be the glue that holds an organization together or it can be the roadblock to adapting to changing situations. This session addresses what is necessary to build the appropriate corporate culture. The session makes use of the research done on Ray’s book, Culture .Com. It also uses a culture dashboard that lets you analyze your existing culture and identify the areas you need to retain or change to become more innovative, more agile, or more customer focused.
Creating Alliances
Enterprises are entering into more and more relationships with other organizations to remain competitive and respond more quickly to customer requirements. Many times these relationships are mislabeled as partnerships. This session will define those relationships from transactions, the most temporary relationship, to partnerships which are the most permanent of business alliances. You will learn what determines the type of alliance you need and what actions are necessary to build and sustain the appropriate alliance.
Advocacy: The Use of Power & Influence
This session discusses the difference between power and influence. It assists you in determining the best tactics and communications methods to get you message across. The session also provides an outline for successful advocacy as well as the currencies you may use to achieve a successful outcome.
